Eric Lippert: The august Waldemar Horwat (lead Javascript developer at AOL-Time-Warner-Netscape) once told me that he considered Javascript to be just another syntax for Common Lisp.

Allowing users to maximize any window to a monitor has its problems. But forcing users to deal with more windows by preventing maximization [like Apple] is not good user interface design.
